I will dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
